USA TODAY Remains Most Widely Read Print Newspaper in the United States

MCLEAN, Va., May 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- USA TODAY remains the most widely read newspaper in the United States according to the Spring 2009 Mediamark Research Inc. (MRI) report released today. USA TODAY reaches more than 3.7 million print readers daily, an increase of 3.4% since MRI's Spring 2008 study, up 2.9% since Fall 2008.


USATODAY.com also saw substantial growth, with a 20.5% increase in daily audience since the Spring 2008 study, up 11.4% since the Fall 2008 release. The daily network audience number, comprising USA TODAY print readers and visitors to USATODAY.com, is nearly 5.8 million adults.
